Add eWAY to your Paydock Account

To connect eWAY to Paydock, you will need an account registered with them. To get a Sandbox account with eWAY, complete their Sign Up Process.

From your eWAY account, you will need your:

  • Public Key - this is your eWAY API Key.
  • Password - this is your eWAY Password.

Step 1: Gather your credentials from eWAY

  1. Log into MYeWAY;
  2. Navigate to the My Account button on the top of the page;
  3. Click on the API Key button. Your Gateway Public Key will be displayed on this page in the API Key field;
  4. To get your Gateway Password, click the Generate Password button to have a new password created for you;

Step 2: Connect eWAY to your Paydock Account

  1. Log into your Paydock Production or Sandbox account;
  2. Navigate to Services from the menu on the left;
  3. Click on the Add New tab from the top of the page;
  4. Navigate to or search eWAY and click on the Activate button;
  5. Complete the field descriptions to connect. Field descriptions are as follows:
    1. Label - this is for your reference only. In Paydock, you are able to add multiple instances of a payment gateway or method. This can be helpful for tracking campaigns or income streams.
    2. Public Key - this is your eWAY API Key.
    3. Password - this is your eWAY Password.
    4. Select Environment Mode - this describes whether you are connecting to an eWAY Production or Sandbox Environment. Please ensure you're using the correct credentials for the type of environment required.

    6. Click Connect. Now you have successfully connected eWAY to Paydock!
